About Victorian Community Corrections
The Community Corrections Practitioner (CCP) structure is a six-level classification aligned with VPS grades, covering practitioners who supervise offenders on community-based orders. CCP Grades 1-3 represent distinct work value levels mapping to specific VPS Value Ranges, while Grades 4-6 map directly to VPS Grades 4-6. CCP staff conduct risk assessments, develop case plans, monitor compliance, and liaise with courts, prisons, and support services.
Typical roles: community corrections practitioners, parole officers, case managers, compliance officers, senior managers. Salary ranges run from $70,086 (CCP Grade 1) to $185,518 (CCP Grade 6). All rates are from the VPS Enterprise Agreement 2024, effective 1 May 2025.
Superannuation: VPS employees receive 12% employer superannuation. The next salary increase of 3% takes effect 1 May 2026.
